CANCELLATION/BOOKING POLICY

your time is important to us! 


At ‘His + Her’ we value your time and your appointment booking, that is why we reserve it especially for you. We also understand that from time to time adjustments to the appointment may need to be made; therefore, we request at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations.

Because your appointment is reserved especially for you, when you cancel your appointment without giving enough notice or 'no show', unfortunately we miss out on filling that time, and our other clients on our waiting list also miss out on an appointment. Due to our appointments being reserved especially for you, the following cancellation policy will apply:

+ For all new clients and online bookings, a 50% deposit is required. If the appointment is cancelled less than 48 hours, or 'no show', the deposit is forfeited and another 50% deposit will be required to secure another booking time

+ For all non-online appointments cancelled less than 48 hours, a $20 cancellation fee will apply. Without payment of this no future appointments will be made

+ For all appointment bookings of 4 hours or more, a 50% deposit is required before the booking is secured, and if cancelled under 48 hours or do not show to the appointment; the deposit is forfeited.

+ For all 'no shows', a 50% of the total cost of the appointment will be charged. Failure to pay the fee and no future bookings will be made. 

Our time is important to all our clients just as your time is important to us. Thank you for understanding! 

Our Service Guarantee

At 'His + Her' we endeavour to ensure that you are satisfied with your service. In the case that you are not completely satisfied, please notify us at the time of your service or no later than 48 hours after the services has been completed. 

Please be aware not all colours are achievable and some will take more than one visit to achieve your end goal. 

No Refunds 

We do not offer refunds on any of our services, but we are more than happy to correct the service free of charge if approved by management. 

For the service to be free of charge, there needs to have been a mistake made from the stylist not just a change of mind from the client once the service had already commenced or been completed. 

For a complimentary corrective service, you will need to notify the salon within 48 hours of the initial service being completed.

Right to Refuse Service

Here at ‘His + Her’ we take pride in our team and creating an atmosphere and culture that cares for each individual client whilst also showing respect. In the same way, we expect the same respect from our clients. 

Therefore we reserve the right to refuse a service to any individual that does not demonstrate appropriate behaviour to our team or another client. 

Quotes 

We do offer quotes, although keep in mind these are not exact figures, we can only give an estimate. When quoting over the phone or via messages, we are very limited to all the information we need to know about your hair, therefore quotes may vary. For any colour work, our process for providing a quote is for us to send our 'Consult Form' to be filled out. This form allows us to gather a little more information about your hair, what your current hair looks like (a picture of your current hair is required), and also your end goal (an inspiration picture/end goal picture is required). 

In some cases we may not be able to quote until we actually see the hair in person. Keep in mind also, quotes can vary even after seeing the hair, as the hair may require more product then expected once started on the hair. All quotes expire after 3 months.
Privacy Statement 

‘His + Her’ understands that privacy is important to you and therefore wants to ensure that your experience whether it be online or in the salon is a memorable, relaxing, enjoyable and as safe as possible. This privacy policy details how we generally handle your personal information. ‘His + Her’ will collect information from you when you book an appointment either online, over the phone or in salon; buy a product, purchase a gift certificate to contact us to get a quote. Some of the information that we may ask (but is not limited to) include your name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, and also any information/history that will assist us in providing a service or treatment.
You also have the right to object from providing us with such information (keeping in mind that in many cases without such important information a booking may not be able to be made or a service be provided), or delete personal information; you can also object from the use of your information.

Your personal information may be used in the following ways:
• Confirm appointments
• Notify of new products/services/promotions
• When required by law
As a client or visitor you have the right to request a copy of your personal information that we have on file (but only that is relevant to you personally and not our own information recorded based on the service provided). In most cases this will be at no cost, although we may charge a fee to cover administrative costs if we consider the request to be excessive or unfounded. At ‘His + Her’ we also operate CCTV surveillance equipment throughout the premises. These CCTV have both video and audio recording capabilities. Therefore such content of conversations may be captured. The purpose of the surveillance is to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors and property. All CCTV surveillances are visible and will not be located in change rooms or bathrooms. CCTV recordings are automatically deleted after 30 days.
